Such an important point!

The resistance to change comes from the pain that change will bring — this seems so obvious now that you’ve said it, but before your piece I hadn’t really connected change with pain so explicitly.

I've always wanted to be able to help those who are in a situation where they have stuffed themselves more than the turkey win a losing battle. So sounds about right, try it and lets changed the world!

Wow thank you for sharing this! It sounds like you had a really touching experience.

This is something that I wanted to capture but felt like I couldn't do justice: the very idea you've described. There is an element of grieving involved, even if you are letting a "less good" version of yourself go to make room for a better version.

It's ok, and maybe even healthy, to grieve the demise of the bad parts of your self too.
