Dear readers,
I’m sorry for the radio silence over the last few weeks - and I’m immensely grateful for so many of you who have reached out to check in on me. It’s a sign of the meaningful friendships I’ve built on this platform over the last year, which I will always treasure.
There are a few reasons I’ve not been writing to you recently.
First and foremost, my spiritual journey came to a point where the work I needed to do took me inwards rather than further out to you. I think this is a natural part of the process of my growth, and I don’t want to rush it.
Second, my life outside Substack has become incredibly busy, but in a good way; lots of travelling to see family and friends, growth in my work, and planning my wedding!
Third, I’ve been thinking long and hard about the best way to deliver value to you - my loyal readers. I tend to write about ideas that I’ve encountered on my journey, but now I want to start framing these ideas in a more focused way for you, so that it’s clear what you’ll get out of subscribing to my publication. Honing in on this strategy will take me some time, but I am sure it’ll be worth it for you when I’m back. And one thing I can promise to you is that I will be back.
Fourth, it’s simply time for a break! I am ready to unplug and reset for a little while, before coming back more sustainably.
With all this in mind, I can’t give you an exact date for when I’ll return, but it’ll probably be in the early summer. I’ve therefore also paused all paid subscriptions, and will not be accepting further paid subs until I’m back.
In the meantime I wish you all the very best, and you might still see me pop up occasionally to say hello!
Thank you as always for your friendship, support, and understanding.
With love,
Zan.
You’re modeling good behavior for the rest of us, Zan! Best wishes for your break.
Rest well and enjoy life - being present in it. Eagerly await your updates when you’re back!
